The meeting of the Council of the Village of South River was held on Monday, March 28, 2011 in the South River Council Chambers. A quorum was present. In attendance were Councillors O’Hallarn, Smith, Mahon and Dickerson.

 

Mayor Coleman was absent with notice.

 

Staff present was Sherri Hawthorne, Treasurer.

 

Public in Attendance: O.P.P Staff Sergeant Stacey Whaley, Constables Louise Maki and David Lawes.

 

1.         Call to Order – The meeting was called to order by Deputy Mayor O’Hallarn at  5:32pm.

 

2.         Declaration of Pecuniary Interest – None

 

Staff Sergeant Whaley and Constable Maki presented the 2011 OPP Business Plan to Council.

 

5:44 p.m.         Constable David Lawes arrived.

 

Some discussion took place but as the Council did not have a copy of the report further questions may be forthcoming. The report would be forwarded to all members of Council.

 

6:42 p.m. Whaley, Maki and Lawes left the meeting.

            to take to Municipal meeting on April 29, 2011

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Village of South River does hereby read a first, second and third time and finally pass By-law 10-2011, being a by-law to confirm the proceedings of Council at its meeting held on the 28th day of March, 2011 with the signatures of the Deputy-Mayor and the Treasurer and the corporate seal affixed.
