Sundridge District Airport announcing its withdrawal from airport ownership,

business/operational plan and a more equitable financial arrangement cannot be
found.

of the Village of South River does hereby support the efforts of the Muskoka/Parry
Sound Coordinated Sexual Assault Services and gives its permission to hold a
Tag Day in South River on Saturday, June 4, 2011 between the hours of 10:00
a.m. and 1:00 p.m. This permission is contingent only on permission being
granted from the individual business/property owners where collection stations
are set up.

of the Village of South River does hereby request the Central Almaguin Planning
Board rent be increased by 10% ($20) + applicable taxes retroactive to January
1, 2011.

of the Village of South River does hereby support the recommendation from the
Joint Building Committee that the CBO and the building official receives a 2.5%
wage increase effective January 1, 2011.

of the Village of South River does hereby approve the request for funding from
the South River Lions Club in the amount of $167.00, as it has in the past, as
the Village’s share of the $500 Don Ivens Memorial Community Volunteer Award
which is split between the Village of South River, the Township of Machar and
the South River Lions Club. The award will be donated in the name of this year’s
recipient to a local charity of their choice.

Councilor Smith stated that the Showcase Almaguin was very well done with lots of information. They touched on “Social Media” and new ways of advertising electronically.
Mayor Coleman also attended the Showcase Almaguin and had many discussions regarding the area marketing brochure.

It was decided the Clerk Administrator would forward the Agenda pages, Resolutions, previous unapproved Minutes and the Declaration of Pecuniary Interest form to each member of Council electronically in an effort to begin making the Village Office more “green” in its operations.

third time and finally pass By-law 6-2011, being a by-law to confirm the
proceedings of Council at its meeting held on the 31st day of January, 2011

affixed.
