BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council
of the Village of South River does hereby read a first, second and third time
and finally pass By-law 1-2011, being a by-law to authorize borrowing from time
to time to meet current expenditures.

the Village of South River does hereby read a first, second and third time and
finally pass By-law 2-2011, being a by-law to engage the accounting firm of
Grant Thorton as the municipal external auditor for a term of three years
commencing January 1, 2011.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council
of the Village of South River does hereby read a first, second and third time
and finally pass By-law 3-2011, being a by-law that provides that one-third of
remuneration paid to the elected members of Councils and their local boards
shall be considered as expenses for the current term ending November 30, 2014.

finally pass By-law 4-2011, being a by-law to appoint Bill O’Hallarn as Deputy
Mayor for the current term of council ending November 30, 2014.

6. Roundtable
Councillor O’Hallarn has been appointed to the District of Parry Sound Social Services Administration Board. His first meeting will be on Thursday January 13, 2011. He also sits on the Access 2011 and has provided a brief update on the fundraising efforts.
The Public Works Committee would like to set a date for its first meeting on January 12, 2011 10:30 am or Thursday or Friday at 10:30.
Mayor Coleman provided an update on the Train Station Project.
